A good race after an abbreviated 9 week training block starting in March 2021 after almost a year (!!!!!) of barely running consistently. Again this block was disrupted by COVID-19 lockdowns so the second half of the training block was solo. Intended pace goal was 4:20/km but started out strong and held 4:15/km eventually pushing it down to the low 4s/km comfortably. Definitely had gas in the tank at the end so I probably could bring it closer to my PB of 1:26:12. 

Revised pace goals for the upcoming marathon build: Long Run Pace 5:00/km. Marathon Pace 4:15-4:20/km. Half Marathon Pace 4:10/km. 10k / tempo pace: 4:00/km.
